OSU’s Bronzed Beauty

IMG_1125 IMG_1122

Just one of many reasons Thompson Library is the bomb diggity. This is the well done statue of one of Ohio State’s previous presidents, Wiliiam Oxley Thompson. The ripples of the robe/cloak on the statue look awesome & I think the artist/sculptor (Erwin Frey) did a great job. There is a tradition to rub the nose/head of the Thompson statue for good luck when you walk past it. I don’t usually need luck, since I’m a genius, but I still do it because traditions are great & the bronze statue feels pretty neat. Conveniently, there is hand sanitizer right around the corner, for germophobes like myself.
