Pictured here is a nice, big rock in Acadia National Park, Maine. If you have never been here before & like the outdoors, you should definitely go. This was at a huge rocky area behind our campsite that looks out to the Atlantic. The ocean, that is. It is very cool when you stop/look down and realize that tons of the rocks you are climbing around on are actually massive chunks of granite. Apparently it’s common knowledge that Maine is known for granite, but I only just found out. Since I clearly know very little about granite, I’m not sure if the rock in the picture is granite, but it could be.
